Some friends gave me fifty won (same as 50 cents as us dollar) as rewards. The amount of the price was likely to buy a small kid's bread at that time.  Always I refused to get it from them because I didn't want to receive anything from my little art lovers. But someday, a girl asked me to draw her newborn puppies and gave me fifty won. With a happy smile, she told me, " You deserve to get it because you help me to realize the joy of painting. I am going to hang it in my room." After several days, her mother came to me and returned the painting and claimed to take just the money. My way...

  My way... 7/22/2020 0 Comments   About my career ​​ Once when I was a child, I happened to stop by my town’s Atelier by chance. I saw a picture of a rabbit hung on the wall. It looked like it wanted to tell me ‘Hi! Little girl! Welcome, tell me more to my world!”. I cannot forget that moment, even today. ​ Later, I knew that the rabbit was the work of Alfred Duerer. Later on, I met a young women artist there. I was lucky to meet her. She kindly allowed me to come any time to her Atelier and taught me from time to time how to draw a rabbit. This was my first drawing. I decided to be an artist like her and did my best to go to an art school. ​ However, I faced opposition from my mother. She strongly opposed my dream. At that time, it was impossible to get entrance to a school without approval from a parent. She did not give me this approval, and instead, she pushed me to enter medical school. Art in a pandemic

  Art in a pandemic 5/21/2021 0 Comments   Art in a pandemic Nowadays, the weather is excellent, so I often come to the yard to see the crystal clear blue sky. If I remember, around this time of last year, the sky was as clear and bright without any impurities as today. Simultaneously, the picture-like-sky seen by us, isolated as a pandemic, was another form of comfort. So I took a picture like this to keep the message of hope.  Blue sky in 2020, Myungja Anna Koh Now, people are getting vaccinated in earnest, and finally, cases are decreasing. The vaccination rate is 52.2% in our county, and the positive test rate is 1.4 %, and the vulnerability level is medium. So now, people are cautiously talking about hope for the future.   When I first heard the news that we had to shut down due to the Covid virus, I went to Costco to be sure to maintain at least a 30-day supply. But as you all know, the toilet paper was sold out, and there was no way to get eggs and bread....
